ANOC Legal Commission meets in Lausanne

The ANOC Legal Commission today met at the ANOC headquarters in Lausanne to discuss a number of legal matters affecting NOCs around the world.

Chaired by Commission Chair Michael Chambers, key agenda items included consequential amendments to the ANOC Constitution as a result of last year’s inclusion of Continental Associations as non-voting ANOC members, legal issues in the Continents of interest to the NOCs and the outcomes of the Second International Forum for Sports Integrity held on 15 February and the impact they could have on NOCs. There was also an update on recent CAS decisions that may be of interest to NOCs.

The next meeting of the Commission will take place in Prague on the occasion of the ANOC General Assembly.
